It’s the Japanese version of McDonalds. Why? Because it’s almost everywhere.
We were deciding what to have for brunch and I was convinced to try the local cuisine. Walking around the main street in Hamamatsucho station we passed this fast food place and saw the poster on the window of a very enticing beef bowl with a raw egg on the side. Love eggs and for 690 Yen, why not.
Ordered, a Beef Sukiyaki in english, that was google say, and a few minutes later, brunch was served.

It’s a beef bowl constantly in a burner which makes it hot all the time, side dished with a bowl of rice, pickled ginger and a raw egg. The photo outside shows the beef being dipped in the raw egg so why not. Got a peice of that hot beef and dipped it on the egg. Loved it! In fact, each city we went to, I was always on the hunt for a Yoshinoya Franchise for a quick snack.
They have other dishes in their menu which you might go for, other choices but I always went for the sukiyaki.
In Japan? Hungry? In a hurry? Well this is the place to go.
