Yummy Thai

Right smack in the middle of Chinatown Sydney stands a building called Sussex Centre. Looks like just a building with office spaces, but hidden inside, at the 2nd level of the establishment is a food court where there are arrays of asian cuisine food stalls. You would have a choice of stalls that specializes in buns, Korean, Japanese and others.

One of them stands out, probably because the dish they serve reminds me of my home country, fried tilapia

serve different ways. With sauces that would be to your liking. What I went for was served with jaew sauce. Being a Thai dish expect the sauce to be really spicy. What I really like about this dish is how the fish is separate from the sauce which makes the fish crunchy to the last bite. It comes with a serving of steamed rice and for $11.90 it is worth it. Most dishes in the food court are the more or less the same price which makes it affordable.

A bit of a heads up, they serve their food with plastic utensils which definitely does not work when trying to cut through the crunchy skin of the fish. Be sure to request proper utensils which they will gladly provide with the condition that you return it after.

Again it fills you at a reasonable price. Yes, you may have spent big dollars to have a seat at a well known restaurant so you can tell everyone that you had lunch at an expensive establishment and have a small serving or eat your heart out in exchange for a small amount of your finances.
